Appreciate Your Publisher Week!

Good morning! Happy Wednesday. Welcome to Rawiyas. Today, I’m posting about my wonderful publisher, Naughty Nights Press. As you can see, they’re the only one for now and I couldn’t be happier to be part of the NNP family. Gina and her team of editors as well as Shane Willis the cover artist have been instrumental in the development of our careers.

She covered everything that could be said about the team Gina has assembled to get the most out of us as authors. Included in that team is awesome promotions director Penny Peterson who I’m taking the time to focus on today. She’s always busy, sending out posts to promo authors, getting reviews, getting author copies out and I’ve only covered about maybe half of what this woman does. Why can’t all promotional people take a cue from Penny who has a life outside of NNP but seemingly, she spends a lot of her time getting things together for all the authors.
I don’t know how she finds all the energy to keep up with the net and all its reviewers, book bloggers, etc to get the word out about our work but somehow she does. I love her emails she sends out to the NNP family, encouraging us not only to promote ourselves but also our fellow authors. This is something new to Shar since none of her pubs do that other than NNP and BL has posted every authors work on her blog so we can show our support. Thats free promo without even trying folks and it’s Penny taking the time to put that promo together.
Not only does that make the company look good but it shows the unity within the group which I love. Sure we all write differently, some may write things others are not very fond of but we do it anyway to get the word out. Hey if you Like Cassandre Dayne’s book, you might like Kiki Howell’s, or Ana Harts and it may even encourage you to try a BL or Rawiya book. What a concept.
In my opinion, no promo is better when it comes from your peers and Penny encourages us to do that. Mrs. Peterson has been a driving force in the success of NNP and continues to assist Gina in running one of the best epubs on the planet!
So in closing, this is a big thanks to Penny and to Gina as well as Shane and the other editors at NNP for making this sweet muse and the wicked one happy. NNP is an awesome pub. If you haven’t heard, check us out!

WoW…I’m blown away Shar, thank you so much for such a glowing post. You have literally brought me to tears.
It is an honor and a privilege to work with such an outstanding group of authors and that makes my job very easy to do.
